In 2024, Chris released his first solo single, a cover of Autumn by Paolo Nutini. In Spring 2025, he released his debut EP, Double Take. More singles are due to release later this year, along with a follow-up EP scheduled for 2026.
Chris is a classically trained musician from King's College Chapel Choir. He studied Music at The University of Nottingham, graduating in 2012, where - in addition to the course - he explored Creative Writing and Theatre while working with the award-winning URN Radio and New Theatre respectively.
Chris composes and performs as soloist, Chris Vox, and as drummer/singer with alternative punk outfit, Gunkus.
With extensive experience performing, copywriting, composing, proofreading, editing, and facilitating workshops, Chris has built strong networks and foundations. These foundations have led to multi-arts collaborations from award-winning poetry collections to sold-out punk rock shows.
