Chris is passionate about poetry and creative writing, lyricism, coaching and workshop facilitation.
As a slam finalist at LYRA – Bristol Poetry Festival and WOMAD, along with writing his debut EP of music and spoken word, The Double Take, Chris enjoys writing in a variety of mediums.
Chris has nine years' experience in academic research, proofreading and editing at university level across a broad spectrum. Chris has built upon this, working with poets and playwrights on further publications and productions.
He has run workshops with undergraduates and post-grad students at Bath Spa University, students and staff at University of Glasgow, varied-ability participants in sessions at Bristol Central Library, and students and staff at UWE Bristol.
As a copywriter and copyeditor, Chris has worked with political/ arts action groups, creative organisations and individual clients on web content management and social media content creation. This includes website management, community management, communications management and branding.
